Terms of Service
Effective June 2026. An agreement between you and Tipper ("we"). By installing the app or subscribing, you accept these terms.
1. What Tipper is
A personal record-keeping tool for delivery drivers. Using Android's accessibility service, it records information displayed on your own screen in the DoorDash Dasher app and stores it locally on your device for your private use.
2. Not affiliated with DoorDash — and your responsibility
Tipper is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or supported by DoorDash, Inc. "DoorDash" and "Dasher" are trademarks of DoorDash, Inc., used only to describe compatibility.
You are party to your own agreements with DoorDash, which may contain terms about automated data collection or third-party software. You are solely responsible for deciding whether and how to use Tipper consistent with them. We make no representation that your use of Tipper is permitted by DoorDash, and we are not responsible for any action DoorDash takes regarding your account.
3. License
With an active subscription (or during the free trial), you get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Tipper on up to two Android devices you own, for your own delivery work. You may not redistribute, resell, rent, or share the app or your download access.
4. Trial, subscription, and billing
- The free trial is the full app for 30 days. A payment method is collected at checkout and your license key is issued immediately; the first charge happens on day 31 unless you cancel before then. Cancelling during the trial means you are never charged. If your subscription ends, the app locks — but your data is never deleted; it stays on your device and is waiting if you return.
- The subscription is $9.99/month, billed in advance and auto-renewing until cancelled. Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy; we never see your full card details.
- Cancel anytime — access continues to the end of the paid cycle. Refunds are governed by the Refund Policy.
- We may change the price with at least 30 days' notice; changes apply from your next cycle.
5. Updates and "it might break"
DoorDash changes its app regularly. When that happens, Tipper's automatic capture can stop working in part or whole until we release a fix. We commit to honest effort, not guaranteed turnaround. Already-recorded data is not affected by such breakage.
6. Your data, your device
Tipper stores its data on your device only. You're responsible for backups (the app automates local snapshots and offers export — use them). We have no copy and cannot recover your data if the device or app data is lost.
7. Acceptable use
Don't use Tipper to violate anyone's privacy or the law. The customer information it records is shown to you by DoorDash to do your job — keep it on your device and don't republish it.
8. Disclaimers
THE APP AND SITE ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT CAPTURE WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR UNINTERRUPTED. STATISTICS AND ESTIMATES (INCLUDING MILEAGE AND PROP 22 FIGURES) ARE INFORMATIONAL AND NOT FINANCIAL, TAX, OR LEGAL ADVICE.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR PLATFORM DEACTIVATION. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE THREE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE.
10. Termination
You can stop using Tipper anytime. We may suspend or end access (with a prorated refund of unused time) if you breach these terms — e.g., redistributing the app. Sections 6–9 survive termination.
11. Changes and contact
We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here with a new effective date. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Questions: tippersupport@gmail.com.
